On-the-ground Kalgoorlie support for Tega customers
Meet Craig Curtis. He is the Goldfields Territory Manager for both Tega Industries and the Tega-owned Losugen. Perth-born Craig spent a considerable amount of time in Kalgoorlie-Boulder back in the 1990s – where he worked in mining, played for the Mines Rovers football club and even enjoyed a stint at the Kalgoorlie Hotel as the pub’s manager. Craig returned to the region earlier this year, this time to provide on-the-ground support for Tega.
Craig has been with the mining products and services company for six years. He believes the Goldfields benefits enormously from having a Tega representative close at hand.
“Being local, I’m just a phone call away,” he said.
“Goldfields businesses have easy access to my services and the Tega range, and don’t have the headache of having to organise logistics for someone to fly in from Perth.”
And Craig is here to stay. He only returned in January, but once again the Goldfields has charmed him.
“Kalgoorlie-Boulder was a great town back in the ‘90s,” he said.
“And it still is.”
It certainly helps that Craig is in the midst of a classic Goldfields mining love story: he met a special someone when organising a sentry to supply services for Tega on a mine site.
Craig and Tega provide innovative, solution-driven mining products and services for the Goldfields. At a local level, this means a collaborative delivery model focused on proactive client partnerships and hands-on support. Value-added services come standard with all products.
Tega’s specialist mining products include mill linings, wear resistant liners, conveyor components, screening and filtering solutions, trommels and hydrocyclones. Tega has recently launched a re-branded range of products for the mining industry, designed to offer maximum wear life and efficiency. These include: DynaMax Mill liners; Aggression Wear Liners; Optiscreen Media; Enduro Trommels; Ultimo Conveyors Components, and more.
